Asics Children's Trainers Ex89

Featuring excellent cushioning, the EX89 is inspired by the GEL-EXTREME basketball shoe from 1989. Created by Toshikazu Kayano in the late 1980s, this was his first design with ASICS. We used our FF BLAST technology to optimise the cushioning. The shape of the heel hugs the foot for maximum comfort from the arch throughout the day. The pattern of the outsole represents a city as seen from above. Inspired by the designer's first business trip to the United States in 1987, this pattern provides optimal grip.
