The celebration days after finishing exams are memories for life. That's why our cheerful Hoptimist students make a great gift idea. They spread joy and, with their little unstoppable bounces, remind the student to keep an optimistic view of the future. Firmly believing in the power of a smile, Gustav Ehrenreich created the joyful Hoptimist movement in the late 60s. The goal was to design a figure that would constantly remind everyone of the importance of staying positive and optimistic. Although the 60s are often referred to as "the happy 60s", this decade was marked by troubling events. That's why the joy spread by Ehrenreich's design was much needed during a rather turbulent time. Bimble and Bumble are the very first Hoptimists that the designer created: A girl in a dress with smiling eyes and a thoughtful boy with a stick on his head. Today, the cheerful Hoptimists are part of Danish design history and spread joy worldwide.
