The celebration days after passing the exams are a lifetime memory. That's why our cheerful Hoptimist students make a great gift idea. They spread joy, and with their little boundless hops, they remind the student to keep a positive outlook on the future. Firmly convinced of the power of a smile, Gustav Ehrenreich founded the joyful Hoptimist movement in the late 60s. The goal was to create a figurine that would constantly remind us of the importance of staying positive and optimistic. Because, although the 60s are often referred to as "the happy 60s", this decade was marked by disturbing events. That's why the joy spread by Ehrenreich's design was a welcome sight during a rather turbulent period. Bimble and Bumble are the very first Hoptimists created by the designer: A girl dressed in a dress with smiling eyes and a attentive boy with a stick on his head. Today, the cheerful Hoptimists are part of Danish design history and spread joy around the world.
