The celebratory days after finishing exams are memories for a lifetime. That’s why our cheerful Hoptimist students are a great gift idea. They spread joy, and with their little indomitable jumps, they remind students to keep their optimistic vision for the future. Firmly convinced of the power of a smile, Gustav Ehrenreich created the joyful Hoptimist movement in the late 1960s. The goal was to design a figurine that would constantly remind us of the importance of staying positive and optimistic. Because, although the 1960s are often called "the happy sixties," this decade was marked by troubling events. Therefore, the joy that Ehrenreich's design spread was well received in a rather turbulent time. Bimble and Bumble are the very first Hoptimists created by the designer: A girl dressed in a dress with smiling eyes and an attentive boy with a stick on his head. Today, the cheerful Hoptimists are part of Danish design history and create joy all around the world.
