Our cheerful QI-Hoptimists are a keepsake for life. That's why they make a great gift idea. They spread joy, and with their little unstoppable jumps, they'll remind you to keep your optimistic view of the future. Firmly convinced of the power of a smile, Gustav Ehrenreich created the cheerful Hoptimist movement in the late 60s. The goal was to design a figurine that would constantly remind people of the importance of staying positive and optimistic. Because, although the 60s are often referred to as "the happy 60s," this decade was marked by unsettling events. That’s why the joy spread by Ehrenreich's design was welcome during a rather turbulent time. Bimble and Bumble are the very first Hoptimists created by the designer: a girl dressed in a dress with smiling eyes and an attentive boy with a stick on his head. Today, the cheerful Hoptimists are part of Danish design history and bring joy all around the world.
