The Mi Motion-Activated Night Light 2 (Bluetooth) can detect human movement in the dark. Once detected, the light turns on. Device updates have been designed with you in mind. Brightness and light duration can be set in the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home application.

Independent sensor functions*

Practical and fun, the Mi Motion-Activated Night Light 2 (Bluetooth) can be used as a motion sensor* and as a light sensor*. Thanks to the Bluetooth gateway, the device can be configured to connect to different devices at different times.

*Sensor functions can only be activated when connected via a Bluetooth gateway. Make sure your account contains devices compatible with the Bluetooth gateway.
*The light sensor can be used to detect two forms of ambient lighting: bright or dark. Specific data are not displayed.
*TheMi Home/Xiaomi Home application contains ten different reports, when the device is used as a motion and light sensor: Human body motion, ambient light status light/dark, ambient light status light/dark and human motion, no human body motion for X minutes.

When you get home from work at 7 p.m., your porch light detects darkness and movement and automatically switches on the Mi intelligent LED ceiling light and Mi air purifier.

When you get up between midnight and 7 a.m., the nightlight in your bedroom detects movement and automatically switches on the low-light Mi Smart LED ceiling light.

The design of the
magnetic holderallows 360° rotation for even more accessible lighting scenarios.

The nightlight can be placed freely on flat surfaces such as bedside tables. The sticker* on the base can be used for mounting. Increase brightness in cupboards and porches for clear illumination without having to switch on the mains light. Set the brightness to a low level on stairs and in bedrooms for soft, non-distracting lighting. Remove the nightlight from its base for separate use.

*Do not reuse the sticker on this product, as it may damage surfaces. Make sure the product is correctly positioned before attaching it.

Three AA batteries are all you need
365 days of autonomy at the lowest brightness level*.

180 days of autonomy at highest brightness*. You can also deactivate the nightlight function via the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home application. Long-term, worry-free use with 17 months of battery life when used as a sensor only*.

* Battery life when the light function is used is calculated on the basis of turning the light on 15 times a day, for 15 seconds each time.
* AA batteries are not included in the product packaging.
*Battery life when the device is used solely as a sensor and the lighting function is not used is calculated on the basis of 80 motion detections and 20 light detections per day, as well as 24 x 6 = 144 regular reports per day.

Mi Motion-Activated Night Light 2 (Bluetooth) features a customized Fresnel lens capable of detecting the most sensitive human movements. The device features an extra-wide 120° horizontal detection zone capable of detecting movement at a distance of 6 m* in front of the light and 2.5 m* to the sides.

Installation

For accurate detection, it is recommended to point the light downwards when the base is installed more than 1.9 m above the ground. For the same reason, it is recommended to orient the light upwards when the base is mounted less than 0.5 m from the ground. For different mounting heights, the angle must be adjusted according to the user's height and the desired usage scenario in order to achieve optimum results.
