The inseam height is the key criterion for a bike well suited to the child's size.

• 12-inch bike: suitable for an inseam height of 35 to 40 cm
• 16-inch bike: suitable for an inseam height of 40 to 54 cm

To measure the inseam height, have your child stand with their back against a wall. Measure the distance from the floor to the inside of the thigh.
