The Synchron Classic features a new compression-moulded EVA midsole, which is common in most modern running shoes. The dual-density construction remains true to the original version from the 1990s. The upper materials have been upgraded with premium pig suede instead of synthetic overlays, while the original mesh look stays true to the era. To modernise the silhouette, Karhu makes the air cushioning technology both visible and functional in the outsole. Most importantly, Karhu maintains the unique lacing structure of the Synchron Classic that allows for tightening the forefoot during repeated use.
