In Naishi, develop your land by acquiring new structures and influential characters to enhance your reputation. The Shogun's law is strict and prevents you from rearranging the cards in your game.
Therefore, make wise use of the opportunities available to you and send your emissaries to intrigue at the imperial court to place your cards as effectively as possible and thus control the most prestigious territory in Japan.

You have a Hand and a Line made up of 5 cards each. This set represents your territory. You cannot freely rearrange your cards, neither in your Hand nor in your Line.
Developing your territory will allow you to replace the cards in your game while respecting their positioning in the River. You will also be able to send your Emissaries to the imperial court, enabling you to take additional actions.

At the end of the game, the cards in your Hand will be revealed and placed under the cards in your Line, following their positions.
Your territory will thus consist of a grid of 2×5 cards.
You will then add up the points provided by each card, and the player with the highest total will win!
