Buena Onda Games is a member of the American Fair Trade Federation, whichengage supports and improves the livelihoods of its Mayan partner artisans in Guatemala. Buena Onda Games employs over 600 Mayan artisans in the villages around Lake Atitlán, sustainably handcrafting colorful creations. The guarantee of a fair income, the possibility of working at home and setting their own hours, and the constant flow of work, enable them to share these incredible products with the rest of the world, in keeping with fair trade values. What's more, they in turn are able to contribute to the development of their communities through projects such as the installation of water filtering systems, the cultivation of shoreline plants and the release of baby turtles.
