Nubuck is made from the grain of the leather. It is the upper part of the hide, the most dense in fibres, which makes it softer and more resistant, but also more qualitative. This part is ground or scraped to give it a soft and velvety appearance. This Nubuck is traced throughout the process. It is also coated with water-repellent oils to protect the sneakers from light rain. The tanneries working with VEJA are certified by the Leather Working Group.

ChromeFree leather is soft and lightweight. Also sourced from farms in southern Brazil (Rio Grande do Sul), it undergoes an innovative tanning process during which no chromium, heavy metals or harmful acids are used. The simplification of the tanning process limits the use of chemicals and energy, and reduces the use of water by about 40% and salt by 80%. After tanning, the water is recyclable. ChromeFree leather is used on the entire Kids leather collection.

This jersey lining is made of 100% recycled polyester. Developed to resist friction and provide maximum comfort and flexibility through its mesh structure, this lining is used throughout the Kids collection.
