In 1977, the Style 36, the second skate shoe created by Vans, was born. It's the first Vans shoe to feature the iconic Sidestripe™ (also known as the "Jazz Stripe"), which would leave a lasting mark on shoe history. In the early 90s, the Style 36 were renamed Old Skool™ before celebrating their 30th anniversary and officially becoming a Vans Classic.
