Children's suede sneakers, combining style and comfort, while celebrating Japanese sports heritage with a contemporary touch.
The ENTJPN 61 is born within THE ARCHIVE SERIES, the project from Enterprise Japan dedicated to the contemporary reinterpretation of archive shoes. It's a research exercise where proportions, materials, and visual codes are reinterpreted through the brand's DNA.
Inspired by 1960s running shoes, the silhouette is slender and lightweight, with essential volumes that evoke the aesthetic of classic sportswear. The clean and functional design expresses a sporty attitude, made to last through time and accompany daily movement.
The blue suede upper highlights the minimalist construction and showcases the dynamic lines of the profile, while the EJ rocket logo lightens up to transform into an essential sign, almost like a Japanese kanji: a graphic stroke that unites movement, identity, and culture into a single form. The tongue with the heritage label recalls the imagery of university competitions from the 60s.
The fine sole, characterized by an intentionally worn effect, introduces time as a design value: an aesthetic sign that imparts identity and authenticity to the sneaker.
ENTJPN 61 pays tribute to the spirit of the 1961 Osaka Universiade, a symbol of discipline, youthful energy, and a culture of training. An essential model that transforms sports heritage into a contemporary, streamlined, and timeless form.
